Not your average organizing company.
Loamy is a boutique professional organizing company. We want to change the way you organize, because organizing is life-changing.
Loamy specializes in digital organization. We declutter and design your devices and virtual spaces. We also offer in-home organization, and we plan events.
Loamy is unconventional. We don’t believe in the kind of organizing that focuses on perfection or appearances. We suspect quick-fixes and we are wary of materialism.
We emphasize functionality and flexibility, rather than rules and rigidity. We value alignment, ease, simple solutions, and delight.
We listen first, and then we create customized strategies and systems that actually work for you.
Our method sets our clients’ experiences apart. Our impact goes beyond organizing your life and changes your life.
Friendly. Thoughtful. Non-judgmental. Unconventional.
Loamy is…
-
Customized
There is no one-size-fits-all with organizing. All our work is tailored to each individual. We’ll discuss your specific needs and goals, and you’ll receive bespoke tools and recommendations.
-
Non-traditional
Loamy resists organizing conventions that focus on perfection, aesthetics, and consumption, and instead centers your identity and personal philosophy to build systems that work for you.
-
Holistic
We support your journey to being organized by unearthing your beliefs, inspiring authentic growth, and creating flexible systems together, all while integrating your specific needs.
Hi, I’m Lili.
After years of systems work, relationship management, and database design for various companies — and after years of colleagues and friends asking me to organize their lives — I founded Loamy.
I enjoy organizing as a way of taking care of people and spaces.
I have worked for climate and conservation organizations, and I bring climate awareness and environmental consciousness to Loamy.
I have a degree in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and bring a philosophical approach to Loamy.
I live in North Carolina with my dog. I love to read, swim, daydream, and write poetry. I am very organized.
Our Commitments
Loamy embraces neurodivergence, disability, queerness, indigeneity, and historically marginalized identities.
We embrace a spirit of collaboration, community, and kindness.
Loamy is not interested in upholding the values and practices of the dominant system that devalues our human experience. We strive to unlearn the internalized ideas we carry around capitalism, extraction, colonialism, patriarchy, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, ableism, ageism, classism, domination, consumerism, and individualism.
We promise to be non-judgmental, discreet, and to respect your privacy always. Our messes can be vulnerable, and our challenges around organization are often emotionally-charged. Loamy appreciates the tenderness of organization and will always work with care and consideration.
Our Method
Organizing is a collaborative process. We listen and learn from you before we create strategies and systems for you. Effective organizing requires that we explore and create what works for you, together.
Our method is gentle, non-judgmental, and encouraging. We know that organizing work can be vulnerable, and we are extremely respectful of your privacy. We work with discretion and discernment. We are supportive, friendly, and easy to work with.
